If you’ve ever wondered where many of my sessions take place — here’s a little behind-the-scenes look. This space has become one of my absolute favorite places to shoot. I work here often, and it’s a go-to location for many of my branding, studio, and lifestyle clients.

The Magic of the Cyclorama
One of the biggest perks? A real cyclorama wall. If you’re not familiar, a cyclorama is a large curved white backdrop with no visible corners or edges. It creates this seamless infinity look that’s perfect for clean, high-end shots. But it’s not just about white — thanks to lighting tricks, we can turn that background gray, dramatic, or even softly toned for a totally different vibe. It’s such a versatile feature, and honestly, once you shoot with it, you’ll understand why photographers love it.
Backdrops That Work
In addition to the cyc wall, I usually have access to at least three staple paper backdrops: a warm coffee tone, classic gray, and solid black — the most popular choices among my clients. These are great for portraits, branding work, and headshots. They offer a timeless, neutral look that works well for both personal and business sessions. The textures and tones can shift dramatically depending on lighting setups, which means we can get a lot of variety from just a few rolls. Other colors may be available too — just check in with me ahead of time to confirm.

Lighting Options: Flash and Continuous RGB
I use both flash and continuous (video) lighting, depending on the session type. Flash — in short — is that bright burst of light you see in high-end fashion shoots. It’s great for crisp, dramatic images. But I’ll be honest — I often lean toward RGB continuous lighting. These lights are powerful enough to freeze motion (yes, even dancing, jumping kids or athletic movement!) and create beautifully lit portraits.
Why RGB? Because they’re insanely versatile. Not only can we adjust color temperatures and brightness, but we can also shift hues — from warm tones to vibrant pinks, blues, greens — for a super creative look. Plus, they’re perfect for video, which I shoot a lot of these days (hello, Reels!)

For Creative Concepts & Birthday Shoots
For special sessions — like birthday celebrations or creative concepts — I often bring out a snoot. This is a focused lighting modifier that casts sharp circular or shaped light effects onto walls or backgrounds. Think spotlight-style beams, dramatic shapes, or the illusion of a colored window. It’s amazing for adding that cinematic edge or highlighting just a portion of the scene — like lighting up only the eyes, or a single hand. It’s one of my favorite tools for creating standout, artistic shots.
Props, Furniture & Styling Tools
This studio comes stocked with all kinds of props and furniture: different chairs, a classic director’s chair, sleek stools, a ladder, soft seating, and more. These items rotate over time, but there’s always a variety available to play with for portraits and lifestyle shots.
There’s also a modern table setup with a clean white backdrop — perfect for branding or business-oriented shoots.
And yes — there’s even a large fan for hair movement (and yes — there’s a comfy couch too, perfect for relaxed portraits or cozy lifestyle setups!) (because who doesn’t love a good wind-blown moment?).
Comfort & Convenience
The space includes a private changing area and makeup station with a large mirror — ideal for touch-ups, getting ready, or simply taking a moment to relax between shots. Whether you’re bringing your own stylist or working with one of my trusted collaborators, there’s plenty of room to get camera-ready.
And one more thing I know my clients love: parking is super easy. There’s a spot right outside the door. No circling the block, no stress. The studio is also conveniently located just off I-95, which makes getting here a breeze.
Seasonal Setups & Themed Props
During holidays and seasonal celebrations, the studio transforms to match the vibe! From festive Christmas themes to sweet setups for Valentine’s Day or Mother’s Day, I love creating special environments that reflect the spirit of the moment. You might also see pop-up setups for other creative or cultural events throughout the year. These seasonal offerings are always announced on my website and social media, so stay tuned and don’t miss a chance to book something magical.
